Gobind Sadan is a living interfaith community on the southern border of New Delhi. Devotions according to many religious traditions go on 24 hours a day, and the holy days of all prophets are enthusiastically celebrated. Gobind Sadan has 2 eternal sacred fires, continual reading of the Guru Granth Sahib, a lovely garden with a statue of Jesus where he appeared to the founder Baba Virsa Singh, a mosque, a meditation pavilion with life-sized statues of Buddha and Mahavir, a place of Jewish worship, and temples devoted to Krishna, Hanuman, Kali, Shiva, and Lord Ram. The community is farm-based, with organic vegetables and dairy supporting the free communal kitchen. Visitors are welcome with prior communication with marypfisher@hotmail.com.
